Chalk and Cheez are two artists that were brought together from contrasting musical backgrounds with a desire to create quality music. T Best is an established producer and engineer who had previously worked on a number of Drum and Bass projects. J East is a DJ and musician from the House scene who brought some fresh talent into the fold.
“Solid Sin” was the result of their first collaboration. The “Original Mix” featured uplifting vocals driven with a breakdown of huge proportions.

The flip - side was where the boys got deep and dubby with their “Dusky mix”. This side also had a Bonus Beat treat for the more ambitious mixmasters out there.
