Dave May fell into the scene via the help of Kiss 100 and originally made up one half of the Rareform production team, although struck out on his own after making "Spinechilla"

Being too young to go to any parties he used to stay in and listen to the likes of Colin Faver, Steve Jackson and Colin Dale. His first steps into the rave scene were via events like Dreamscape, Life & Utopia, Dance Planet and Obsession. It was in 1993 when his MCing career started off, thanks to regular appearances at Swindon's Fruit Club.

Via sheer hard work and persistence, bookings started coming from events such as Phase One and Evolution and he also secured a residency at Oxford’s brand new Metro night. Metro focused on cutting edge drum & bass with DJs such as Bukem, Fabio and Doc Scott all playing, and through this he was heard by Leo Roach, and was invited to play at his club, Speed in London's West End.

By now Dave was playing at events such as Pure X, Universe and World Dance as well as participating on Oxford’s brand new radio station, Oxygen fm. A brand new night was about to start in Oxford by the name of Source, the original residents were Spinback, Mouly and Manik D. Dave was there for over 2 years.

Highlights of his career have been apperaring on Radio One’s “One in the jungle” show as well as on the Adam F tour. The best moment though was with Andy C at Big Love with over 6000 people going crazy to the beats and breaks.
