Forbidden Zone is a new artist whose music has a retro feel with an up to date sound. His influences are so far stretched it would serve as an A-Z of music history to describe them; from Funk to Classical, Dub to Jazz.
So expect a radical mixture, a soundtrack from past to present, a journey into the future. Forbidden Zone is a kind of musical activist, reaching out to his audience through his artform, a perfect producer to join our artist rosta.

“Hyde 'n' Seek”  on the A side has the feel of Jerry Goldsmith meets Lalo Schifrin; basically a funky soundtrack with loads of suspense and changes of scene.  Thumping horns, lush Rhodes and eerie synths tease the senses whilst the drums and bass hold together a killer groove.

Flip over to the AA side with “The Civil Rights Movement”  which has a more relaxed groove that is very easy going, with a slightly sinister edge, reminding us of the dangers of our mysterious urban street.  With  subtle vocal snips from  Malcolm X, police sirens  and K9s howling, this is perfect head nodding, feet stomping, urban grooves, which nicely compliments the A side.
