The A side ‘Change The Style’ is a weird but wonderfully produced Tekno record with a gimmick, which still has a hard edge. Midpoint in the choon, all of a sudden, the vibe and style changes to a Trip Hop excursion, sending the dancefloor into a state of delusion & confusion as Dave Jay adds to the atmosphere with some soothing vocals.
The AA side is a smooth grooving, smooth moving Tekno number, with production as tight as a Ducks arse, the track glides from section to section with ease and precision. Dave Jay sings sweetly and soulfully adding to the uplifting and mystical Tekno vibe. To really appreciate this track you have to listen deeply and you’ll be hooked.
