“Legacy” come forth with their second release for Bear Necessities, marking the label’s 27th single...
Their previous single “Breakin’ Point / Configuration” was received very well and was a great start to Jason Greenhalgh & Paul Smith’s (aka Total Science) new alias, giving them artistic freedom to create without the pressure of high expectations.

Bear Necessities has provided an outlet for the more left of centre artistic sounds of Drum & Bass, laying the foundations for the future sound of the genre, and has aided the likes of Optical (Bear Necessities released his first ever single back in 1996), A-Sides and others who wish to be left anonymous, using pseudonyms to keep the mystery.
(Don't underestimate the power of the Bear, you may be caught unaware)

Both “Deception” & “Data Transfer” have been on the circuit for a little while now and have been played by the likes of Bailey, Randall and Dylan. They hit the nail right on the head with uplifting and emotional vibes without a touch of cheese or sleazy, complete with lots of energy, cracking beats and moving basslines, enhanced with melodies which keep the mind ticking with excitement.
